Description

Cotton is a soft, staple fiber that grows (in a form known as a boll) around the seeds of the cotton plant. Cottons are often spun into yarn or thread to make textile products like T-Shirts, socks, underwears, bath towels. The five leading exporters of cotton in 2009 are the United States, India, Uzbekistan, Brazil and Australia.
