Carrot


Description

Carrot is a root vegetable, usually orange, purple, red, white, or yellow in colour, with a crisp texture when fresh. The edible part of a carrot is a taproot. Carrots can be eaten raw as they are perfectly digestible without requiring cooking. Carrot juice is widely marketed, especially as a health drink, either stand-alone or blended with fruits and other vegetables.
