Dandelion
Description
Dandelions are tap-rooted biennial or perennial herbaceous plants and they have very small flowers collected together into a composite flower head. Each single flower in a head is called a floret. Dandelions, flowers, roots and leaves, have been used in traditional Chinese medicine. There is also evidence that this property of dandelion leaves may normalize blood sugar.
