Owl

Description

Owls are solitary and nocturnal birds, with some exceptions (e.g. the Burrowing Owl). Owls hunt mostly small mammals, insects, and other birds. They are found in all regions of the Earth except Antarctica, most of Greenland. Owls cannot turn their heads completely backwards. They can turn their head 135 degrees in either direction; they can thus look behind their own shoulders, with a total 270 degree field of view.
