Description
Iron is a most common metal. It is the sixth most abundant element in the Universe. It is the most widely used all of the metals because of its low cost and high strength. Iron is used in engineering applications such as the construction of machinery and machine tools, automobiles, the hulls of large ships, and structural components for buildings.
