Earth
Description
Earth is the third planet from the Sun. It is the fifth largest of the eight planets in the solar system. It is also referred to as the World, the Blue Planet,and Terra. Earth is the only place in the universe where life is known to exist. The physical properties of the Earth, as well as its geological history and orbit, allowed life to persist during this period.
