Apple
Description
Apple is a pome fruit and is one of the most widely cultivated tree fruits. The tree is small reaching 3 to 12 metres tall, with a broad, often densely twiggy crown. The health effect of apple can best be described by the proverb "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". China is the largest producer of apple followed by United States, Turkey, France, Italy and Iran.
